I worked closely with a small business owner who recently started her fitness business. Her expertise is in coaching tennis as well as personal fitness and nutrition.
The colors I used were inspired but two different surfaces that tennis is played on: clay and hard court.
I started with a rectangular design based on a tennis court, base- and service lines, and net.
I updated the design to focus on the "T" of the service line and added some tennis balls for balance.
We decided to focus on a racquet and a ball in our logo design. I also added the year the business was established.
The tennis ball is off-center to make the composition more dynamic.
And for the final touch, a slight shadow is added under the ball to suggest movement.
